The Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara, announces an opportunity for students to participate in the Bakti Nusa 16 Program – Beasiswa Aktivis Nusantara, a leadership development program designed for active students who have leadership project ideas and are committed to making a positive impact on society.

The program offers various benefits, including monthly activity funding of IDR 500,000, funding for Leadership Project development, Career Development and Career Mentoring, one year of leadership mentoring, participation in the Global Experience Program, as well as leadership recognition and publication of the Leadership Project in a book.

General Requirements:

  • Muslim students in their seventh semester (2023 cohort) with a minimum GPA of 3.00.
  • Not currently receiving a similar leadership scholarship.
  • Have an idea for a leadership project that benefits society or have already implemented such a project.
  • Actively serve as a committee member or administrator in a campus organization, community, or community-based organization.
  • Obtain a recommendation from an academic or non-academic figure.
  • Be enrolled at one of the 15 universities participating in the Bakti Nusa program, including Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU).

Application Documents:

An updated CV or personal biodata, academic transcript, recommendation letter from an academic or non-academic figure, achievement certificates (optional), proof of following the Instagram accounts @bakti_nusa16 and @greateduindonesia, and proof of uploading the throwback content and poster to a personal Instagram account.

Important Dates:

Registration: September 25–October 18, 2026

Administrative selection announcement: October 21, 2026

Interview-stage announcement: November 5, 2026

Leaders Camp: November 6–12, 2026

Leadership Project Visit: November 13–29, 2026

Final announcement: December 8, 2026
