During the Even Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year, the Forestry Study Program, Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), successfully conducted 16 Practitioner Teaching sessions featuring 11 experts from research institutions, government agencies, industry, and professional organizations.
During the Even Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year, the Forestry Study Program, Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) successfully organized 16 Practitioner Teaching sessions, involving 11 practitioners from various institutions. The program was designed to bridge academic learning with real-world professional experience by bringing experts directly into the classroom.

This semester, the Forest Products Technology specialization hosted the highest number of Practitioner Teaching sessions, followed by the Forest Management and Silviculture specializations.

Through the Practitioner Teaching Program, the Faculty of Forestry USU continues to strengthen experiential learning by exposing students to current practices, professional perspectives, and real-world challenges in the forestry sector. This initiative enhances students' competencies and prepares them to meet the evolving demands of the profession.
