Two lecturers from the USU Faculty of Forestry, Dr. Ir. Luthfi Hakim and Dr. Ir. Tito Sucipto, received the Satyalancana Karya Satya XX from the President of Indonesia on August 17, 2025. This award recognizes their dedication of over 20 years serving in the fields of education and forestry.
Exciting news comes from the Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU). Two distinguished lecturers, Dr. Ir. Luthfi Hakim, S.Hut., M.Si., IPU., ASEAN Eng., and Dr. Ir. Tito Sucipto, S.Hut., M.Si., IPU., ASEAN Eng., officially received the Satyalancana Karya Satya XX from the President of the Republic of Indonesia during the 80th Independence Day celebrations.
This award is given as recognition of their service, loyalty, and dedication over more than 20 years in performing duties as civil servants (ASN) in education, research, and community service.
The Satyalancana Karya Satya itself is an honor bestowed by the President of Indonesia to civil servants who have served with full loyalty, honesty, and competence, and who have never received disciplinary punishment.
The USU Faculty of Forestry is proud of this achievement. It is hoped that this award will further motivate the academic community to continue producing work, contributing, and giving their best to the development of education and forestry in Indonesia.
