The Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), will host the International Conference on Bamboo, Forestry Resources, and Application (IC-BaFoRA) on September 3–4, 2025, at GrandDhika Hotel, Medan.
Hello, fellow academics and environmental enthusiasts! The Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), in collaboration with Universitas Simalungun, IPB University, and various partners, proudly presents the 2025 International Conference on Bamboo, Forestry Resources, and Application (IC-BaFoRA), which will take place on September 3–4, 2025, at GrandDhika Hotel, Medan.
Featuring speakers from Indonesia and abroad, the conference will explore crucial topics such as bamboo conservation, bioenergy, biotechnology, and bamboo-based food technology.
Important Dates:
Full paper submission: March 1 – June 30, 2025
Acceptance notification: July 17, 2025
Final revision deadline: August 20, 2025
Conference dates: September 3–4, 2025
Optional Excursion: September 5–6, 2025 (Lake Toba Trip!)
Selected papers will be published in the IOP Conference Series, indexed by Scopus.
