The Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara, has once again recorded a proud achievement. Two lecturers from Faculty of Forestry USU have officially received Patent Certificates in 2026 for their innovative research works that contribute meaningfully to the advancement of science and technology.
The patent recipients are Dr. Iwan Risnasari, S.Hut., M.Si., for the patent entitled “Fabric Dyeing Process Using Ecoprint Techniques with Extracts from Sikkam Plants (Bischofia javanica Blume)”, and Dr. Ir. Luthfi Hakim, S.Hut., M.Si., IPU., ASEAN Eng., for the patent entitled “Method for Producing Adhesives Based on Palm Sap and Citric Acid.”
This achievement serves as tangible evidence of the Faculty of Forestry USU’s academic community in producing applicable, sustainable innovations with strong potential to deliver broad benefits to society.
