The Global Forest Journal (GFJ) USU has officially been indexed as SINTA 3 for the 2023 to 2027 period. This scientific journal, managed by the Faculty of Forestry, University of North Sumatra, serves as one of the publication platforms in the fields of forestry and environmental studies that continues to grow and develop.

This indexing status reaffirms the commitment of the Faculty of Forestry USU to improving the quality of scientific journal publications, while also expanding academic contributions at both national and international levels.

In addition to GFJ, the Faculty of Forestry USU also manages another journal, the Journal of Sylva Indonesiana (JSI), which had previously been indexed as SINTA 3. Both journals are published by TALENTA Publisher USU as part of strengthening the research and publication ecosystem within the university environment.

For researchers, lecturers, and students who wish to publish forestry-related scientific articles, GFJ and JSI provide broad opportunities for submission. All writing guidelines, templates, and submission procedures can be accessed directly through the official journal websites.
