FORMASA of the USU Forestry Study Program successfully secured national funding through the 2025 PPK Ormawa program.

The Forest Management Student Association (FORMASA) from the Forestry Study Program, Universitas Sumatera Utara, has successfully received national funding under the Student Organization Capacity Strengthening Program (PPK Ormawa) 2025.

 

Bringing forward a program titled "EcoBIS: A Digital Business Model Innovation to Enhance Marketing of Non-Timber Forest Products in Beras Basah Subdistrict, Langkat Regency," FORMASA proudly stands as the sole representative from USU to be selected at the national level.

 

This program, under the guidance of Dr. Ir. Samsuri, S.Hut., M.Si., IPM., ASEAN Eng., is expected to empower local communities through a forestry-based sustainable digital entrepreneurship approach.
