Delivery of memento of cooperation between FAHUTA USU and FPAS UPM
A delegation from the Faculty of Forestry and Environment (FPAS) of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) visited the Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) on October 23, 2023. This visit was a return visit following the visit of the Dean of the Faculty of Forestry USU to FPAS UPM in August 2023.
The purpose of the FPAS UPM visit was to sign and implement a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on collaboration. The MOA signing was held at the Meeting Room of the Faculty of Forestry, USU Bekala Campus.
Delegates from FPAS UPM and the Faculty of Forestry USU discussed evaluating past activities and exploring potential collaboration opportunities in education, research, publication, and community service.
Prof. Dr. Hazandy Abdul Hamid from FPAS UPM delivered a guest lecture on "Forest Ecophysiology" to students of the Forest Cultivation class.
