The USU Faculty of Forestry has adjusted the composition of thesis examiners to make the examination process more effective, fair, and supportive of students’ academic quality. This change applies to students with either one or two supervisors.

The USU Faculty of Forestry has made adjustments to the composition of thesis examiners. This change aims to create a more effective and fair examination system while supporting students’ academic quality.
Previously
Students with two supervisors: examiners consisted of the main supervisor, the co-supervisor, and two other lecturers.
Students with one supervisor: examiners consisted of the main supervisor and two other lecturers from different study interests.
Now
Students with two supervisors: examiners consist of the main supervisor (chief examiner), the co-supervisor, and one lecturer from another study interest.
Students with one supervisor: examiners consist of the main supervisor (chief examiner) and two lecturers from other study interests.
With this adjustment, it is expected that the thesis examination process will run more proportionally and provide optimal space for student evaluation.
