The Master's Program in Forestry at Universitas Sumatera Utara is accredited as "BAIK" by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT), ranked second in SINTA, and excels in USU’s TALENTA fields: Tropical Science and Medicine, Agroindustry, Local Wisdom, Energy (sustainable), Natural Resources (biodiversity, forest, marine, mining, tourism), Technology (appropriate), and Arts (ethnic), with a specialization in Natural Resources.
