Three students from the Forestry Program, Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), participated in the Summer Camp 2023 event at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) from August 6 to 19, 2023. The Summer Camp took place at the Sultan Idris Shah Forest Education Center (SISFEC), Selangor Darul Ehsan, Malaysia.
Three students from the Forestry Program, Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), participated in the Summer Camp 2023 event at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) from August 6 to 19, 2023. The Summer Camp took place at the Sultan Idris Shah Forest Education Center (SISFEC), Selangor Darul Ehsan, Malaysia.
The three students were Daniel Rolex Partogi Napitu (Student ID 211201210/MNH), Syafiqah Rizqy Utami Rangkuti (Student ID 211201228/KSH), and Putri Honey Miftasya (Student ID 201201047/THH). Accompanying them were the Dean of the Faculty of Forestry, USU, Dr. Ir. Rudi Hartono, Vice Dean I, Dr. Alfan Gunawan Ahmad, and Head of the Forestry Program, Dr. Ir. Tito Sucipto. In addition to supervising lecturers, they also cooperated and collaborated with the Faculty of Forestry and Environmental Studies (FHAS) UPM and the Institute of Tropical Forestry and Forest Product (INTROP) UPM.
The Summer Camp, also known as the Forestry Camp, is an annual routine activity and serves as one of the compulsory courses in FHAS UPM with the code FHS4904. This year, there were approximately 120 student participants in the Summer Camp, including 22 students from Indonesia, representing Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), IPB University, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Universitas Brawijaya (UB), Universitas Hasanuddin (Unhas), and Universitas Mataram (Unram).
