The Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara, once again presents the Practitioner Lecturer Program for the Odd Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year as a platform for learning directly from industry experts. In this session, the course Forest Pests and Diseases (BDH 5) will discuss an important topic on the Management and Control Strategies of Plant Pests (OPT) in Industrial Plantation Forests (HTI).

 

This activity features Adventris Lestarina Hutagaol, S.P., M.Si., R&D Manager of PT Toba Pulp Lestari, who will share field experience and the implementation of OPT control strategies based on current research in the forestry industry.

The session is guided by Prof. Dr. Ir. Yunafi, M.Si. as the course instructor.
