The Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), is once again presenting a Practitioner Lecture for the Odd Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year. This time, the course Hydrometeorological Disaster Mitigation (KSH 7) will be delivered by a professional practitioner with direct field experience in handling forest and land fires.
This session will feature Chaerul Parsaulian Ginting S, S.Hut., Head of Manggala Agni Daops Sumatera IV/Pekanbaru, as the speaker. He will share fundamental knowledge, experiences, and best practices related to forest and land fires—from causal factors and risks to mitigation strategies.
The session will be guided by Mariah Ulfa, S.Hut., M.Sc., as the course instructor.
