The Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), held an online Workshop on Updating the Master’s Program Curriculum with the theme “Locally Excellent and Globally Impactful Curriculum” on October 23, 2025. The event featured speakers from various institutions and leading universities to strengthen the relevance of the graduate curriculum to modern-day needs.
The Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), will hold a Workshop on Updating the Master’s Program Curriculum with the theme “Locally Excellent and Globally Impactful Curriculum” on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 09.00 WIB online via Zoom Meeting.
The event will feature four competent speakers: Dr. Ing. Ir. Ikhwansyah Isranuri (Manager of International Accreditation, BP USU), Ir. Tomy Listyanto, S.Hut., M.Env., Ph.D., IPU, ASEAN Eng. (Head of the Master’s Program in Forestry Science, Universitas Gadjah Mada), Moch. Farid Januardi, S.Hut., M.BA. (Head of Perhutani Forestry Institute/PEFI), and Dr. Ir. Samsuri, S.Hut., M.Si., IPM., ASEAN Eng. (Head of the Master’s Program in Forestry, USU).
The workshop will also be officially opened by Prof. Dr. Ir. Rudi Hartono, S.Hut., M.Si., IPM, Dean of the Faculty of Forestry, USU.
Through this event, the Faculty of Forestry, USU, aims to update the curriculum to make it more relevant to the advancement of science, community needs, and global challenges in the field of forestry.
Participants attending this event will receive an E-certificate, valuable knowledge, and opportunities to expand their academic networks.
