The Faculty of Forestry, University of North Sumatra (USU), is once again presenting the Practitioner Teaching program for the Even Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year for the course Plywood and Laminated Wood Technology.

This program features practitioner speaker Dr. Jajang Sutiawan, S.Hut., M.Si. from the Research Center for Biomass and Bioproducts – BRIN, who will share firsthand experience and knowledge from both research and industry perspectives.

The program will be conducted in several sessions with engaging and applied topics, namely:

This program is supervised by course lecturer Prof. Dr. Apri Heri Iswanto, S.Hut., M.Si., and is expected to provide students with practical insights into the latest developments in wood technology based on current industry and research advancements.

Students are encouraged to actively participate in this program as part of strengthening their academic competencies as well as their understanding of the professional world.
